Founded in 2022 by U.S. Army Disabled Veteran Ms. Nekesa T. Echols on a single principle: complex projects deserve a single point of accountability.
Headquartered in Alvin, Texas, A&O delivers engineering, EPC construction, autonomous robotics, cloud migration, and full-system integration to federal, state, municipal, and industrial clients across the United States.
Where most firms specialize narrowly, A&O brings engineering and IT under one roof. The project that starts with a geological survey can end with a fully integrated network and a fleet of autonomous mobile robots running on it — without ever leaving our accountability.
We hold nine active certifications, including SDVOSB, WOSB, ACDBE, and Texas HUB, qualifying us for federal, state, municipal, and airport concession contracts. Our service portfolio spans 13 distinct lines across engineering, robotics, IT, and managed services. And we run every engagement the way our founder learned to run operations in the U.S. Army: with discipline, documentation, and a refusal to make excuses.
Ms. Echols founded Alfa & Omega Solutions in 2022 after a career in the United States Army, where she developed the operational discipline that now defines how A&O delivers. She served 18 years with the Alabama Army National Guard, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Telephone Operator responsible for a 22-line tactical communications system, and earned the Combat Action Badge before being honorably discharged.
Her professional background spans logistics, engineering coordination, and enterprise technology — giving the firm leadership that understands both field conditions and executive requirements. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Alabama A&M University, with coursework in Marketing, Management, Supervision, and Business Communications, and she has held an Interim Secret federal security clearance.
Before founding A&O, Ms. Echols built and ran Abernathy’s Industrial Cleaning Services, where she served area manufacturers and gained direct experience negotiating contracts, managing employees, and ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance — the operational foundation that A&O is built on today.
Under her direction, A&O has secured nine federal, state, and municipal certifications, built a 13-line service portfolio that spans subsurface engineering to autonomous robotics, and positioned itself as a single point of accountability for complex, multi-discipline projects.
To deliver mission-focused engineering, technology, logistics, and construction solutions with the discipline of military operations and the rigor of executive accountability — bringing engineering and IT under one roof so our clients get a single point of accountability across the most complex, multi-discipline projects.
To be the trusted single-point-of-accountability partner for federal agencies, prime contractors, and industrial operators nationwide — recognized for the technical breadth to take a project from subsurface exploration through system integration, and for a standard of delivery shaped by military service and earned through every contract performed.
Four principles define every A&O engagement:
No handoffs between vendors. From the first survey to the final commissioning, the same accountable team owns the project.
Daily field operations are run with military precision. Progress is reported to client leadership in language they can act on.
The infrastructure we build and the systems that run on it are designed together — not retrofitted by separate vendors.
SDVOSB, WOSB, ACDBE, DBE, MBE, WBE, SBE, TX HUB, and PDBE — qualifying A&O for federal, state, municipal, and airport contracts.
Five values guide every hire, every project, and every client interaction.
From single-task engineering support to multi-year, multi-discipline contract performance, our team is ready to scope, staff, and deliver.
